It’s bad enough that I’m experiencing my first winter since 2004. With all the darkness and rain, coupled with deep sadness of not being with my family, this past week has kicked my butt!
My mother is alone in her last days with hospice. I called her on Monday and although she couldn’t hear me enough to know it was me, she was compelled to comment, “You are so fortunate to have your family around you”.
(Sigh) Because I don’t. Not her. Or my daughter, grandson and son-in-law who we were meant to be with during this time.
Maybe it was the full moon on Tuesday, but that night I only got 3 hours of sleep. By Wednesday morning I was a mess. I spent the day processing my emotions, writing in my journal, walking in nature, talking to my beautiful husband and crying…A LOT.
Weeping and releasing months of sadness, was medicine for my soul. This process didn’t take long, however I felt so much lighter afterwards.
We are transforming ourselves and the world as we’ve known it.

This is also a perfect time to get clear with your desires and focused intentions.
How would you like your future and the future of our planet to unfold?
First for yourself. Then for the world.
Take some time and write this down. Then, close your eyes and be there. Feel the future happening in your active imagination. And believe in, This or something better with harm to none.
Throughout the rest of the year (and beyond), focus on your loving and uplifting desires, intentions and actions. Take time daily to focus your attention on the greater good for yourself and for all.
Feel into forgiveness, love, respect, harmony, compassion and kindness. Be there every day, for what you focus on and expect, you will create.
Become the author of your life. Ground yourself regularly and stand in your power with strength. Speak and act with authority.
Remind yourself each day that you are capable, powerful and beautiful. Because you are.
