The world is changing. And you are changing too. We are living in transitioning times…have you noticed?

From healthcare and politics to education, technology, banking and money, the food industry, and the environment—everything seems to be shifting.

With the earthquakes, fires, floods and volcanoes, we can see our planet is clearly shifting too.

Many of us are questioning how we live, what we value, what truly brings us joy. We’re reevaluating our relationships, our work, our healthcare, our diet. Maybe even where we live.

We are living in a changing world. And here’s the thing: transition can feel messy, uncomfortable, chaotic—even scary.

Chaos precedes change. And chaos triggers fear.

So what’s the best way to navigate these chaotic, changing times with more grace, clarity, calm and inner peace?

It begins by understanding the roles of the head and the heart.

The head, or rational 3-D mind is brilliant at navigating linear, 3-D, fact-based tasks—budgeting, directions, and language, for example. Yet for anything that is not linear, our mind begins to spin as it tries to keep us safe.

Because our linear mind is resistant to change, it acts out of fear, especially around the unknown. It gets triggered before you make any big shift. It wants to be in control and it wants to keep you safe. It blames others for what’s going wrong or for what’s going on around you.

The mind judges, compares and worries. Its goal is to keep you in the status quo and yet today the status quo is rapidly changing.

When you find your mind spinning in the fear and anxiety of uncertainty, it’s time to drop out of your head and into your body.

Into your heart.

You are a spiritual being having a physical experience. You access this part of you within your heart. When you look at life and the world around you from the lens of your soul, you are able to see life differently.

When you understand and access the power of your inner world, you realize your “real” resources are unlimited and they are beyond the physical…resources such as your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, attitudes, decisions and choices. These are your raw materials for creating your 5-D “reality” and they are within you.

It’s in your heart where you experience the “more real” of who you are—conscious, compassionate, and connected to yourself and to others. It’s here that you tap into unity, love, and true healing from within.

And I believe, now more than ever, the world needs this kind of heart-centered wisdom and alignment.

So, how do we shift from fear and the need to control from our head and into the wisdom and depth of love in our heart? Especially when we’re spinning in anxiety and overwhelm.
